“Reign: The Queens of Blues, Soul & Rock ‘n Roll” is a stage production showcasing a century of anthems popularized by influential Black female artists who revolutionized the music industry and garnered regal titles like “Queen,” “Goddess,” “Mother,” and “Empress.”

Featuring hits like “Proud Mary,” “Lady Marmalade,” “RESPECT,” “Mr. Big Stuff,” and “I’m Coming Out,” “Reign: The Queens of Blues, Soul, & Rock 'n Roll" will have you singing and dancing as the big-band production honours the ways in which Black female solo artists and groups became the voices of their generations, and transformed not only American music’s most popular genres but also audiences and future musicians everywhere!

REIGN showcases the influence of music legends like Billie Holiday, Patti Labelle, Big Momma Thornton, Etta James, Whitney Houston, Gladys Knight, Roberta Flack, Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan, Diana Ross and more!

Starring Juno-nominee Patricia Shirley, Canadian vocal powerhouse Geri Defoe, Memphis International Blues Competition finalist Garnetta Cromwell, and backed by The Royal Tribute Band featuring members of DaGroovmasters, “Reign: The Queens of Blues, Soul, & Rock ‘n Roll” is a musical masterpiece, a journey through music history, and ultimate friends-night-out that will raise the roof and bring down the house!
